Daily life in modern society keeps us overwhelmingly busy. In the midst of life's chaos, you might be doing everything in your power to hold it all together. Hello, I’m Matt

I’m a Bay Area–based psychotherapist working with individuals across California. People often come to me when they feel stuck in patterns they understand intellectually but can’t seem to shift, or when their nervous system feels like it’s always bracing for the next hit. Working with me isn’t about fixing you or polishing rough edges. It’s about helping you getting honest with what’s actually happening beneath the surface and understanding why your system learned to respond the way it does.

My work is relational, grounded, and engaged. I draw from attachment theory and nervous system awareness, but more than anything, I pay close attention to what unfolds between us in the room.
